(The model with pop-up head lights).            Is your engine still at risk? It is, unless it has had a grill fitted. As you are aware, the MX5 is the world’s best selling convertible of all time but, when your MX5 Mk1 first came out of the factory, brand new, its radiator was totally unprotected, because the huge air-intake did not have a grill accross it to protect the radiator. So a stone, thrown up by the car in front, could fly straight into it and cause hundreds of pounds worth of damage.
