But you may not be aware that when these cars are new, they come out of the factory with no grille in their radiator mouths. So a stone, thrown up by a car in front, could fly straight into the mouth and puncture the radiator. Not a pleasant thought. So if your MX5 Mk.2 hasn't had a grille fitted yet, you need to give serious consideration to fitting one.        The Lockwood MX5 Grille not only protects your radiator; it also looks good. So good, in fact, that one leading MX5 enthusiast described it as: "The prettiest MX5 grille ever made".        The Lockwood Grille is made from 316 grade, woven stainless steel wire mesh, that is welded into a stainless steel rim and then electro-polished. We finish the rim off with an EPDM trim, to give it a snug, ‘rattle-free’ fit that will not damage your paintwork. It is held in place by cleverly designed ‘Secret fixings’, and comes with our easy to follow, step by step instructions and photographs. You’ll fit it easily within an hour but it will look good for a lifetime.
